F-Zero MSU-1 audio hacks
Reply to this Post

Since recently it has become possible to replace the audio in SNES games with real CD quality audio files. This is then playable on the emulators bsnes and higan and also on a real SNES console with the SD2SNES flashcart.

There are hacks available for F-Zero as well as BS F-Zero Grand Prix 2 (practice edition) made by Con and Ice Man:

F-Zero: www.romhacking.net/hacks/2447/
BS F-Zero Grand Prix 2: www.romhacking.net/hacks/2505/

Some really high quality replacement PCM's made by Colines (more native sound) and alternativels kurrono (more "electronic rock" sound) are found here: http://1drv.ms/1T4rosd

I went ahead and made a full replacement audio set for the Tony Thai's F-Zero X style remixes as well Smile. Those who were at the F-Zero meet already got to experience this one on a real snes too. I made the patch and pcm audio files available here for ease of use: www.mediafire.com/
