Hello ! I've begun a small project that aims to reunite every possible combinations of machines and tracks from MV to create some sort of Time Attack repository. Here it is : docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1JQUr3IHjZzUjx-CgluFnu0BbrxzplsuFiaRtiuC4iWc/edit#gid=0

I was inspired by Yoshifan's Machines vs Staff Ghosts for F-Zero GX and Vallkyr's F-Zero Climax Spreadsheet, and given how much fewer runs are needed to complete this spreadsheet, I think there is an actual chance of having the whole thing done. And although real console performances are much more preferred, for the sake of completing this spreadsheet, I'm willing to allow emulation runs, as long as they were done at 60 fps (which means no TAS runs or runs with slowed down speed). This is F-Zero, not a snail race :O

... I think that's about it. I've added some runs already (especially the Jet Vermilion ones, although I couldn't find some of the WRs in this game, so I went with the best run that has a recording). Annotations for specific runs have been made to specify if it was done in Grand Prix mode or not.

Most of my serious Time Attack stuff comes from F-Zero GX, so I don't know if I'll get to own MV someday. We'll see.

This can go down to 2'17, maybe even lower. I panicked during lap 4 and lap 5, and the opener could be faster too. But my goal was sub 2'20, which is accomplished regardless. ('w')

EDIT : I've also uploaded a few of Masao I.'s runs, though they are unlisted on Youtube. Those runs are P2 with Wind Walker, P4 and Q2 with The Stingray. I know these times have been bested, but since there's no video of these runs yet, I thought I could still add them to the spreadsheet. I found those runs in the "Videos" tab of FZC, if anyone is curious.

Nice work on Q2 Sparkwolf! I had the same difficulty with the SC as you did using Sly Joker, I like your approach in boosting after hitting the jump plate... I might need to try that myself.

All updated. My internet was down for more than 2 weeks. The good news is, I've got to redo Falcon Mk-II and J.B Crystal on Q2, as well as barely subbing 2'16 with Fire Ball on this track. I'll upload them when I can. ('w')

I replayed MV today, and got two new times :

2'06"62 on P1 with Falcon Mk-II

2'12"23 on P2 with Fighting Comet

Fun fact : Fighting Comet on P2 is 0"01 faster than my fastest Falcon Mk-II time there.
