● A new entry into the F-Zero GX Time Attack History video-series has been released this month, and this time Unr3al with help from several other members of the community have taken a closer look at the first track in the game Mute City - Twist Road. As before, the video goes through the entire World Record progress over the years (focusing on Max Speed), with the additional intention to showcase the development of new strategies and techniques. It's definitely worth a watch if you have the time.
● And lastly for the news, a stubborn rumour surrounding video game developers Criterion Games (perhaps most famous for the creation of the Burnout-series) involving them having been asked by Nintendo to make a new F-Zero title for the WiiU has now been cleared up. In a recent interview made by Game Informer, Burnout-creator Alex Ward denies ever having having had such a conversation with Nintendo. Instead, the rumour seems to have started by an email sent to the company by an unknown member of Nintendo of Europe who wanted to express their own personal desire to see Criterion make a new F-Zero title. Good to know, I guess.
