Okay, you know what? Screw this bullshit. I loved F-Zero when I was younger, and it reignited my passion for the game when I saw that there's still an active group keeping top records for it - and moreso when I saw I had a time that topped the current record. So I register, and post my time... and get called a troll and a cheater and a faker. I didn't come here for that BS. I certainly hope this isn't how you treat most of your new members, because if you do chances are most of them don't stick around for long - I know i'm not. And one last question for you guys to think about - "the enemy"? Why the hell would I be an enemy? Who would oppose maintaining records for the best times for a seventeen year old game?Jeez, THINK before you throw out words like that! P.S. You might want to consider changing your submission rules from "MFO reserves the right to request proof" to "MFO requires proof" - tha tway other used-to-be-good players won't have to deal the BS I did. |
cheaters are enemies of people who play fair and square. they shall be eliminated whenever they pop up.
this site has veterans from every f-zero game and we know the games too well to notice fake times from real ones on sight. your time is fake and there's no way around it since it is impossible to get a time like that. it is even almost impossible or plain impossible to get below 1'58 atm.
we treat members well when they don't cheat. when they cheat, we treat them like the scum they are: like shit. that's it basically. we don't need shit like you messing with the forum and trying to pass fake times as real times so you can leave and never come back since no one needs you here.
also, a WR requires proof whenever you go, not only here. you have to prove WRs because that's supposedly the best time in the world and everyone wants to see them done before their eyes to be free of doubts.
loving the series doesn't give you the right to cheat and fly past people who sweated and played hundreds of hours to set the current WRs.
